All our licences allow the use of our fonts for desktop/print, web and embedding in apps and e-books. The large licence model also includes broadcasting use.

Depending on the extent of your planned use of our fonts, you can choose one of the following models:

Medium License: Print+Web+App

Desktop/Print: 5 users
Web Pageviews/month: 500.000
App downloads: 5.000

Large License: Print+Web+App+Broadcast

Desktop/Print: 25 users
Web Pageviews/month: 10.000.000
App downloads: 100.000
E-Book downloads: 1.000.000
Broadcast: 2.000.000 viewers

Trial Fonts License:

DSLF trial fonts have a limited character set and reduced or no OpenType features, you can download these fonts in otf format free of charge. You are allowed to install the Trial Font software on up to 5 of your computer/devices and use it for testing and evaluation purposes only. You may use the trial fonts to create mock-ups and design proposals for your client. If you want to use the font for a public commercial or non-commercial project, an approriate license needs to be purchased first.

DSLF typefaces are shipped in the following file formats – depending on the selected license model:
Desktop: .otf
Webfonts: .woff & .woff2
App / Embedding: .ttf

Please note that you are not allowed to convert your licensed font files to another file format by yourself. If you need a different file format you will need to purchase an additional license.

Mac OSX:
unzip your purchased DSLF Fontfiles,
open the Mac OS app »Fontbook«,
klick on File > add fonts > navigate to your DSLF fontfiles > klick »open«

Windows:
unzip your purchased DSLF Fontfiles
select Font files > right-click > install

DSLF typefaces are equipped with various OpenType features that provide users with advanced typesetting capabilities.

Some of these features are enabled by default in many applications (e.g., kerning, ligatures, context-sensitive alternatives), while others must be individually enabled by the user as needed. To see what features are available in the different fonts, please refer to the “Features” section of each typeface.

Please note: Not all of the features are supported by all apps – desktop publishing apps like Adobe CC or Affinity show a wide coverage, while other apps lack some of the OT features support.

All DSLF typefaces cover the following minimum language scope:
Latin, Latin extended A+B
For any extensions beyond this, please refer to the “Language Coverage” section and the “Character Map” of each typeface.

All DSLF fonts have been extensively tested in various widely used applications such as Adobe CC and MS Office, yet we cannot guarantee full functionality in all conceivable applications and technical environments. In case of technical questions we are happy to support you as far as we can, beyond that we can recommend specialists.

If a technical update of one of our typefaces is available, existing licensees will receive these new, improved font files free of charge. However, this does not apply to major content enhancements – for example, if a font is additionally equipped with Cyrillic language coverage.

You can pay with all major credit and debit cards and Apple Pay, and – depending on your location – there may be other services available as well. During the checkout process, all available options will be displayed.

Since your payments to DSLFonts Type Foundry are processed through our payment partner Stripe, we do not have access to your credit card details at any time.

We are currently unable to offer payments via PayPal in our webshop.
So if you don’t have a credit card and want to purchase a license, please contact us by e-mail and we will guide you through a manual order process and transaction via PayPal.

To purchase font licenses, please select one of the available license options and the desired family packages and/or single styles of a typeface. According to your selection, the total net price will be displayed in the lower left corner.

After clicking the “Add to cart” button, you will need to enter the domain or app name (if you have chosen a web fonts- or app license), your personal data (or additionally the licensee’s data if you are ordering on behalf of someone else) and payment details.

Please make sure you have read the EULA (End User License Agreement) before you finish the order process.

After completing the order process and successful payment you will receive a confirmation email and can immediately download the font files including a pdf invoice and a license document.

You may purchase a license on behalf of a third party (e.g. your client) provided that the third party who becomes the licensee has expressly authorized you to act on their behalf and has read and accepted the Agreement. Please make sure that you correctly enter the details of the third party who becomes the licensee before you complete the order process.

Without exception, no refunds are available for files purchased in error – for example, if you purchased a Condensed Bold font but actually wanted ExtraCondensed Bold. Therefore, please make sure that your selection of styles or packages is correct before finalizing your order.

A refund is only possible if your purchased font files are demonstrably defective, on condition that you report the defect in writing within 40 days of the date of purchase, and DSLF is not able to provide you with new, corrected files within 40 days of your notification.

Please note: DSLF cannot guarantee that the fonts are compatible with all existing applications and environments. Although they have been extensively tested, our font files are software and will therefore probably never be completely bug-free.
